Fall/Winter Skincare Products | OROGOLD Cosmetics

I have been testing out products from the 24k Cryogenic Collection by Orogold Cosmetics for about a month now. The company behind Orogold Cosmetics reached out to me and wanted me to test out one of their collections and give my opinion on it.

The Orogold Cosmetics company is all about making the skin young-radiant-healthy-glowing. You may have heard before that gold is not that healthy for your skin, in fact, everything below 22 karat gold is not, which means that this collection with 24 karat gold is very good for the skin. Before they send this out to me I asked them if this collection really is for me (a 19-year-old with no signs of aging skin), they responded:
"Yes, while it is true that our products have an anti-aging focus, they are based on various skin care concerns rather than age. So by starting with a great skin care line at 19, you may be able to put off getting wrinkles for much longer. The 24K Cryogenic Collection is a great choice for your skin type since the products in this collection were formulated to polish and rejuvenate the skin".

First impression

This first thing that crossed my mind when I opened the package was that the products came in, was "wow". Products that are all together worth $5000, I am sure that they put a lot of effort on making the packaging unique, beautiful and eye-catching. The box that contains the product is, first of all, a stunning gold shimmery package (appears silver in the photos). Each package has a "24k gold certificate" inside. Knowing that this brand and their products are high end they know that their customers want nothing less than perfection, which this definitely is. What is quite amazing, is that you can tell the gold pieces are in the creams as well as the serum. It is very beautiful and so different from everything I have every used before, and I am really happy that I got the opportunity to try such an amazing product line out.

The products

The products I got to test out were (descraption of the products taken from their website):

24K Cryogenic Restoration Cream: "Lessens fine lines and deep wrinkles, renews skin´s surface and promotes the look of elasticity".

24K Cryogenic Eye: "Creates a firming and tightening effect and lessens visible discoloration".

24K Pearl Elixir: "Brightens complexion and lessens the performance of fine lines".

24K Diamond Mask: "Offers skin a cooling sensation and helps to reduce the visibility of lines and wrinkles".

After 1st use:
All the products were easy to work with. They are all nice light scented. I immediately felt a tightening into the skin. I am used to using a day/night cream on my face that is really moisturizing and leaves my skin feeling very hydrated. At first use as well as the next two or three, my skin was quite dry and very tightening after using the products.

After a couple of days -> couple of weeks
After only using the collection for three days I started to notice the little fine line I have between my eyebrows started to disappear, which is very impressing in the little amount of time I have used the products. The dryness I experienced in my skin was turning into a soft, moisturized and radiant skin feeling after a week and a half of use. The problem behind is was probably that your skin has to adapt to the new changes that it is going through. Every time you try new products on your skin, you have to let you skin get used to it. The saying that you should give it a try for a week or two is a really good rule to go by.

Last comment
I think it is a great product because a little goes a long way and with that being said, you just need a quick dip in the container to be able to spread the product on your entire face - so big thumbs up for that! You can definitely use it for a couple of months if you use the right amount of products each time. I can definitely tell the changes it has made in my skin - where my skin is a lot more firm and tight-looking, the little fine line between my eyebrows is almost completely gone and in general my skin looks more radiant and glowing. Burgundy velvet X Minimalistic Affairs

Hi my lovelies. As you all might know by now if you have been around here long enough, I love velvet. It reminds me of my childhood dresses which most of them were made by my dear grandmother. My absolute favorite one was similar to this color of my jacket, perhaps a bit more on the reddish tone, but I loved that dress the most. Every time I purchase something in the velvet material I get a pleasant flashback of that lovely memory. Yesterday, I wore my new burgundy jacket which I am absolutely obsessed with and I know that I will get a lot of wear out of it! It fits like a glove as you would say and is so soft and feels like the jacket hugs you back when you wear it. For the top, I went with this classy white blouse that has big sleeves and has a high neck, which I really like and makes the look more sophisticated.

Ombre Faux Fur Vest

Hi my lovelies. I have been looking for a cute piece to keep me warm in this season. I really like the idea of throwing on a cute vest and your look is pretty much complete. When I stumbled upon this faux fur beauty from Chi Chi I was simply in love! Not only is it so soft, fuzzy and warm, but it is a stunner on its own. The ombré detail it what really made the cut for me and I had to have it! With this kind of vests, you don´t need to go all in with accessories (you can) but I prefer to keep it simple but yet classy. Therefore, I went with one of my favorite bags, which is this black velvet, sparkly embroidered beauty. Other than that, to keep the look in the black and white theme, black sunglasses and my black Daniel Wellington watch to top it off.
